Saccharine
the cavernous tuck
tongue trespass teeth
ophidian interloper
my hand to your throat
gentle explorer
seeking routes unseen
savoring lines neglected
the rush of lungs
avaricious breath
an insouciant desire
to taste atmosphere
broken down by your –
god, your body –
my need isn’t to feed
it’s to stimulate the cells
pumping in your veins
it’s to coexist with the air
inhabiting your saliva
it’s to be one, together
if even for a single
delectable, gossamer moment
