Corinne Hawk

Do Me the Courtesy

Hold my chin in your hand. Trace
my lips. Push your thumb into my
mouth. Gently. Slide the tip across
my tongue. Feel wet warmth. Deeper.
Anoint your basal crux. Graze the
knuckle. Slip across vermillion. Tug
my bottom lip. Cascaded breaths
against my neck. I moan softly.

Corinne Hawk (she/they) is a queer writer, (dis)abled activist, and performance artist. Their work has appeared in Bridge Eight Press and the zine Dear Social Workers. Corinne once found a note addressed from Diane di Prima to Starhawk wedged between the pages of a used copy of Loba. She lives – unhoused – in upstate NY.
